Description

  •  Britton and Rose Cactus, Gymnocalycium Mihanovichii, also known as Chin Cactus, is often grown as a houseplant. It grows up to 1.6 inches (4 cm) tall and up to 2.4 inches (6 cm) in diameter.

    Growing best in the summer, Gymnocalycium Mihanovichii produces large silky flowers with colors ranging from white, yellowish white, greenish to pink.

    Plants may be shipped bare root.
  • Porous, well-drained, do not let the cactus sit in soggy soil for more than a day or two.

    Bright light, but needs light shade during the hottest months of summer.

    Water moderately in the summer but keep the cactus completely dry in the winter when temperatures are from 40 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit (5 to 15 degrees Celsius).

    Feed with a controlled-release fertilizer during the summer growing season.
